Special Reserve signifies a premium wine from the Tbilvino portfolio. Special Reserve wines are produced in limited quantities of only a few thousands bottles, from well matured, fresh and high-quality grapes. Lengthy aging in oak barrels completes a range of wines with a unique taste and complexity.

Place of Production: This wine is produced from specially selected grapes sourced from the renowned controlled appellation of Tsinandali in the Kakheti region of Georgia.

Fermentation: After settling, the juice is fermented at 12/16°C to ensure maximum fruit intensity and crispness.

Aging: 100% of wine goes into French oak barrels for 4-5 months to pick up a subtle amount of vanilla flavour and added complexity.

Cellaring: Tsinandali Special Reserve is a robust wine suitable for longer cellaring.

Tasting profile: The wine is characterized by a high intensity of colour, where the usual straw colour of Tsinandali is enriched with tints of gold. It is distinguished with aroma of caramel, vanilla and quince, and has a medium body.

Food pairing: Tsinandali special reserve offers a dominant aroma of quince, is medium-bodied and rich in the mouth with a smooth finish. It matches well with light salads, grilled vegetables, chicken with citrus dressing and steamed fish.
